SiSiB&©|174; PC1118 is a secondary aminofunctional silane possessing two symmetric silicon atoms. SiSiB&©|174; PC1118 may act as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials (for example glass, metals and fillers) and organic polymers (thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers) or as a surface modifier.
SiSiB&©|174; PC1118 amino silane is a slightly yellowish liquid with an amine-like odor. It is soluble in alcohols, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.
SiSiB&©|174; PC1118 is the equivalent of Momentive's A-1170, Evonik's Dynasylan 1124.
